Landry McGillivray is a well established full-service law firm in downtown Dartmouth and has been providing legal services to our clients throughout Halifax Regional Municipality and the Province of Nova Scotia for over 40 years.

 

Landry McGillivray has an immediate opening for an associate lawyer with a general practice which may include General Litigation, Criminal Law and Family Law. This person will have the ability to further develop their practice and client base and will be expected to deliver the high quality of legal services that Landry, McGillivray is known for. 

 

Your Skills/Qualifications:

​

• Preferably 2 years experience in General Litigation;

• Member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society;

• Ability to bring in a partial practice of files is considered an asset;

• Strong communication skills (verbal & written);

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines; and

• Demonstrated commitment to client services and legal excellence.
